The video that launched an artistic movement: Toronto-based band Blue Dog Pict’s “Tainted” directed by and featuring frontman Keram Malicki-Sanchez from their critically acclaimed album “Anxiety of Influence: a nodding into…?” received the single largest request in MuchMusic history. It enjoyed a brief stint in medium rotation on the Canadian equivalent to MTV, before vanishing for the last 15 years.
It is also the very first music video by producer Brad (B. Rad) Walsh whose company Projektor Images and Sounds went on to produce some of Canada’s most successful videos and win dozens of MuchMusic video awards. Edited by Emanuel Pereira.
